FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Driving and gameplay
Latency depends mainly on your internet and distance from our infrastructure. We design the system so that the control is smooth and predictable, and the video is as low-latency as possible.
For best results: Ethernet cable, stable Wi-Fi 5/6 and no load on the connection (background downloads/streams). We also show you the quality of your connection as you go, so you can see when it's worth “letting go” of the risk.
You can control both the keyboard and the pad/controller.
For most players, the best feeling is given by the pad (smooth gas/brake and turn). The keyboard is great for starting out and for “arcade” driving. The button/axis settings will be customizable (sensitivity, dead zone, response curves).
Vehicles have protective systems (limits, safeguards, failure modes), and we design routes to minimize “stupid” damage.
If a crash happens - rest assured: it's part of the game. The key is whether it was normal driving or deliberate rule-breaking (e.g., deliberately driving into obstacles/destruction). We will clearly describe in the regulations what is OK and what is abuse.
We bet on clear rankings and verifiable results:
- time/position counted systemically (on our side),
- The ability to analyze the ride (telemetry / recording),
- Clear rules for scoring, penalties and season resets,
- identical rules for everyone in a given mode.
It's all about winning skill, rather than “combining.”.
Yes - and we even encourage it. There will be an easy way to share images/overlays under the stream (e.g. time, speed, sector, ranking).
In addition, we will ensure that streaming does not spoil the control (i.e. recommendation: stable connection and reasonable quality settings).
We treat locations like maps in games - they rotate to keep it fresh.
There will be a base (a permanent track for training and rankings), and there will be cyclical changes: new obstacle layouts, other surfaces, event locations (hall/warehouse/outdoors). This keeps the world “alive” rather than one track forever.
Yes - with repeated abuse (intentionally driving into obstacles, sabotaging sessions) we provide for blocks and account restrictions. We want skill to win, not „combination”.
Reservations, technology and requirements
Rides will work like in-game/server reservations:
- You select the mode (e.g. training / ranking / event),
- You book a slot or enter the queue,
- You get a notification when your ride starts.
For smoothness, we are planning time limits per session and a system that prevents “holding space” without driving.
Sessions have a time limit to keep the queue flowing. If you're late, the system can cut your time or move you to the end of the queue (to make it fair for others).
We have an emergency mode:
- car goes into safe behavior (e.g., stop / limited speed),
- The session is marked as aborted,
- Depending on the situation, the system may grant repetition/compensation (For example, if the problem was on our side).
We want it to be fair: if the infrastructure fails - you do not lose “in the dark”.
All you need is a normal computer/laptop and stable internet:
- stable connection (preferably cable),
- A reasonable ping and no “spikes” in the connection,
- Current browser (Chrome/Edge/Firefox),
- pad welcome (but the keyboard also works),
- For comfort: a 1080p screen and no background comp load.
The bottom line: internet stability > “PC power”.
The most important thing is stability (no spikes). We recommend an Ethernet or Wi-Fi 5/6 cable and disabling background downloads/streams. As you go, we show you the quality of your connection so you can see when it's worth playing „at ease.”.
The system automatically matches the player to the distributed network infrastructure and shows only those boards where the latency and stability of the connection will provide playable control. This protects you from „lag” and frustration.
Preferably for regions with good latency to infrastructure and a given board. The system itself will match available locations to your connection.
There will be different options so that everyone can choose their playing style:
- single rides / tokens (For those who want to “try it”),
- time packages (Cheaper with more rides),
- subscription / season (for regular players and leagues).
Prices will be clearly shown before the launch, with no hidden costs - and any shipping of prizes/physical bonuses will be counted separately.
No - you run the game in the browser. Ultimately, we will also develop convenience on mobile devices, but internet stability is key.
COOPERATION WITH ARCADERALLY
You don’t build the technology — no need for your own app, booking system, or payment infrastructure.
We provide equipment and a fleet of race-ready cars, configure the whole thing, provide service/support and promote the platform by directing players to active locations.
Space for the board + basic operation at the location, power supply and possibly stable internet.
