PLAY AND WIN – Play online and win a real RC car
PLAY AND WIN This is a special competitive mode in aRCadeRally, in which players control a real RC car over the internet and compete for a physical prize. This isn’t just a regular computer game or simulator—here, the vehicle is actually on the track, moving across real terrain, and the player controls it remotely from their computer.
In this year's edition, the grand prize is A real RC car on display next to the track in a lighted PLAY AND WIN display case. Players can see what they're competing for, and every run can bring them closer to victory.

What is PLAY AND WIN?
In PLAY AND WIN mode, the player takes part in a special contest. During the session, they control a real RC car online and search for QR codes hidden on the track.
QR codes are placed at various points along the track. To pass them, you must drive up to them properly and position the car so that the camera mounted on it can scan the marker. So it’s not just about speed—it’s also about precision, control of the car, keeping an eye on the track, and a good strategy.
QR Hunting Mode
The current competition format is QR Hunting. The player's task is simple: find as many hidden QR codes as possible and do it as efficiently as possible.
Each QR code found correctly earns points. In addition, the player receives a time bonus based on how quickly the code was found after the session began.
The sooner you find the QR code, the bigger the bonus you'll receive.

How is the score calculated?
The scoring system was designed to be simple, clear, and fair.
Each QR code you find gives you:
100 basis points
In addition, a time-based bonus is added:
time remaining until the end of the session / total session time × 30
If the bonus amount includes a fraction, it is rounded down to the nearest whole point.
Scoring Example
Let's assume that the session is in progress 20 minutes.
The player finds the QR marker 5 minutes into the game. There are 15 minutes left in the session.
Time-based bonus:
15 / 20 × 30 = 22.5
After rounding down, the player receives:
22 bonus points
Score for this marker:
100 basis points + 22 bonus points = 122 points
The sooner a marker is found, the greater the time bonus. This means it pays to not only find a lot of QR codes, but also to plan your route well and act quickly.
Each code can be used only once per session
Each QR code can be counted only once during a single session. The system prevents multiple points from being earned on the same token.
This means that the player must actively search for new codes instead of repeatedly scanning the same spot. This makes the gameplay more dynamic and fair, and requires players to actually explore the track.
Can you play more than once?
Yes. Each player can participate in more than one session as part of the same PLAY AND WIN edition.
However, we don't include all trips in the ranking. Only the following count: best single session that player.
This is a very important rule because it ensures that the competition remains fair. The winner isn't the person who simply plays the most times. The winner is the player who achieves the best score in a single session.
However, each subsequent game offers a chance to improve your score, get to know the course better, and plan a more effective strategy.
Fixed code placement within a given cycle
Within a single PLAY AND WIN cycle, the placement of the QR codes on the track remains the same.
This allows players to analyze their run after each session, memorize the locations of the markers, and plan a better route for their next attempt. This makes the gameplay more strategic—it’s not just about driving fast, but also about observation, memory, and choosing the best order in which to collect the codes.
When does the editing process end?
The PLAY AND WIN edition ends after participation 100 different players.
Each player may play more than once, but for the purposes of the entry limit, they are counted as a single participant. Once the limit of 100 players is reached, the ranking is closed, the results may be verified, and the winner is announced.
This gives the competition a clear limit and real tension—the number of spots in a given edition is limited.
Online Ranking
The PLAY AND WIN leaderboard is available online and is updated after each session ends. Players can track their results, check their position in the standings, and try to improve their best run.
Only a player's best single session is included in the rankings. If you play again and achieve a better score, the rankings will be updated.
Who wins the prize?
The grand prize goes to the player who achieves the highest single-session score at the end of the season.
Victory depends on successfully finding QR codes, a good strategy, precise driving, and making use of time bonuses. What counts is the best run, not the number of attempts.
The Real RC Prize
The biggest difference between PLAY AND WIN and a typical online game is that the prize is physical and real.
The winner of this edition will receive A real RC car on display in the PLAY AND WIN showcase next to the track. It's a reward that players can see during gameplay and that they really strive to earn.
Why should you play?
PLAY AND WIN combines remote online gameplay with the real world. Players don't control a virtual vehicle, but a real RC car driving on a real track.
Each session is another chance to improve your score, find a better route, and pass the QR markers faster. It’s a combination of off-road driving, online competition, strategy, and a real prize.
